A deep inner transformation with Internal Family Systems therapy
Internal Family Systems therapy, or IFS, is an evidence-based therapeutic system that helps us heal and change from within.
The journey in IFS consists in reconnecting with an authentic sense of presence. From that place of healing we can change our relationship with and transform aspects of our inner lives: our emotions, attitudes, blockages, patterns, or qualities and strengths. This leads to a softening of our inner life, and a deep healing through the liberation of the wounds we carry.
Through this work we reconnect with ourselves as more open, more integrated, so we can embody our deeper values and qualities. We become more authentically ourselves.
About me
I’m Nicolas Escoffier, an IFS practitioner (level 2) and healer with a passion for combining traditional and current approaches to healing.
I believe that our healing as adults is best supported by offering both safety and freedom to the parts of us that long for transformation and growth.
The guidance I offer is shaped by my deep background in neuroscience and traditional contemplative practice, and by a sustained engagement with the body and the natural world as sources of wisdom and transformation. It is built on a foundation of patience, openness, and integrity.
Credentials
I am trained as a practitioner in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy (Official Level 2 training). I have deeply engaged this spiritual dimensions of IFS through trainings and workshops led by Richard Schwartz, Robert Falconer, and Ann Sinko, and through my own practice.
I have enriched my practice with training in relational and emotion-focused therapeutic modalities.
I trained in and practiced meditation in South-east Asia where I have lived for 12 years. I have studied under and keep close connections with my teacher who is rooted in South-east Asia contemplative traditions. He has encouraged me teach.
I have also undergone teacher training under the Unified Mindfulness system (Level 1), a secular meditation teaching system.
I hold a PhD in Psychology (neuroscience) from the National University of Singapore, a leading university in Asia.

Is this work a good fit for you ?
People who are drawn to this work are often looking to heal and engage with their inner life more deeply and are drawn to IFS. This may be a good fit for people have already done some healing work, maybe in the course of a psychotherapy, and wish to engage in deeper inner exploration, healing, and integration work.
This work can also help people who wish to integrate contemplative or spiritual experiences, whether challenging or transformative.
A Profound Healing Journey
Our spiritual and psychological dimensions are often viewed as separate in the western traditions.
In the traditional contemplative traditions I was trained in, they are thought to be connected in a complex and rich relationship.
Exploring, deepening and nurturing this relationship is a source of great healing.
It connects us with the deepest sense of ourselves, and can heal, transform, and re-enchant our daily life and the world we live in.
